What can I say? Life got busy. It's been over a year since I posted and nearly as long since I actually made a card!! I've dabbled a bit here and there... I made a few Christmas cards after all, but never did get around to posting them. 
So today I just got IN A MOOD. I cleaned up my craft area, which had become a dumping ground for everything that didn't have a home. I started by stamping sentiments on a set of cards that were all made, and added the punched owls. That felt good... to finish a project that had been sitting there for a couple of months at least. This will be one of our teacher gifts I think!

Then I started flipping through last year's Stampin Up! catalogue and got inspired to use up some of my kajillions of buttons to make these:

24 cards/two teacher gifts down. And now I'm raring to go... off to Pinterest to see what inspires me there!

CCC Sketch Challenge

Here's my take on this week's sketch for the Christmas Card Challenge! I had a couple extra Christmas Sheep already printed out from Doodle Pantry, so I decided to use one of those (I have sooo many "extras" printed out it's like another crazy form of hoarding). I hope you'll come play along with us this week!

PMS Digi Makeover

I needed a little inspiration to get going for my Paper Temptress post today, so I decided to play along with the Paper Makeup Stamps Digi Makeover Challenge...but then I just couldn't get anywhere, so I also picked up the Mojo Monday sketch for this week. Ahhhhhh. It feels good to be doing challenges again! My cardmaking mojo has really slipped in the last 6 months that I've been working on building my business. 

For this super simple sketch I used Paper Temptress' Pool Treasures for the base, Jellybean Green, Black Licorice, and Cryogen White for printing my digi!

A Christmas Color Combo at CCC

This week we have a color combo challenge for you at Christmas Card Challenges: Pink, Purple, Green and White. I went for the collage effect this time with a favorite SU set. Come play along with us!

CCC Shaped Cards

I think this is the first time in about 5 months that I've touched my Cricut! But I'm not so good with shaped cards, so for this week's Christmas Card Challenge I checked my cricut cartridges to find one and found this ornament... the card has a square base, but the front panel is cut out in the shape of the ornament. Add some stickles around the edge and voila! Quick and fun shaped card! Come join us at CCC this week!

PMS & Paper Temptress

Well, it's snowing & freezing rain here tonight, but I feel like Spring! So I thought I'd whip up a nice Spring-y card for my post today. I just love pink & green together...on a card...but funny enough...I would probably not wear this combination! LOL

All the papers (except the flower print) are from Paper Temptress. The green paper is Green Textured, the pink is Razzleberry and my white of choice is always Cryogen White. The image is by Paper Makeup Stamps.
